On Monday, January 31st, Illuminous 3 will be throwing a party at Honey for their debut music video for the song "Midtown Living" off of their "Thrift Stores & L's" EP. The video was shot and directed by Greg Grease of The Usual Suspects and captures the lifestyles of all 3 members living in South Minneapolis. The EP, which is available for free download at http://www.illuminous3.com, has received great reviews and local support in the Twin Cities area features production by King Karnov, Sevadar Sehaj, Noam the Drummer and Mavin MC.
The release party is being hosted by "Catch a Case Mondays" at Honey Lounge in NE Minneapolis and will feature brief performances from Wide Eyes, The Usual Suspects and of course Illuminous 3. Following the performances there will be a dance party Dj'd by Dj Noam The Drummer and Dj Gabe Garcia of the Turnt Up! crew. The party goes from 9:30-1:00 am and will be free with drink specials!
